Flexible Working

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.

This is an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher with experience in global health, (medical) anthropology, mental health or applied health research to work on a major global health research programme on racism and social inequalities in mental health in Brazil. You will work as a member of the multidisciplinary ORI team.

About You

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in social sciences, (global) health researcher or a related discipline, and training and experience in qualitative/quantitative research methods. You will have relevant experience in a communications/public engagement role and be able to develop, deliver, and support a range of dissemination activities. You will have excellent communication skills, an ability to work independently, and have an organised approach to the management of your work.

You will be a core member of the ORI cohort of early career researchers who will undertake groundbreaking research across Brazil and in the UK. This role will involve a number of short field trips to one or more ECLIPSE field sites in Brazil and training/meetings in the UK.
