ONSITE IN BRUSSELS: Freelance Identity and Access Management (IAM) Officer - PKI, MFA Expert

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Contract Length: 300 hours (~40 working days)

Security Clearance: REQUIRED

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Officer with hands-on experience in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), IAM policy, cloud IAM solutions, and enterprise security. This role focuses on developing and implementing IAM strategies, directives, and secure authentication solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain IAM policies and enterprise directives.
Advise on PKI administration, certificate authorities, key management, and authentication strategies.
Implement MFA and secure access solutions for cloud and on-prem systems.
Support the creation of an Enterprise IAM Board and governance structures.
Coordinate risk management and High-Level Risk Analysis (HLRA) activities.
Lead IAM-related projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and update of security directives and enterprise access controls.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) at both policy and technical implementation levels.
Strong experience with PKI, MFA, SSO/SAML, smartcards, and IAM platforms.
Hands-on knowledge of cloud IAM solutions (AWS IAM, Azure AD, etc.) and on-premises IAM systems.
Project or service management experience coordinating enterprise security initiatives.
Experience managing technical teams and IAM projects.
Familiarity with cryptography, digital certificates, and key lifecycle management.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
SECRET security clearance is required.
