Role Overview

An exciting role awaits an E&I Engineer to join a leading industrial company based in Belgium. As the E&I Engineer, you will manage electrical and instrumentation projects from concept to completion, acting as the discipline lead for large-scale industrial investment projects. This position offers the chance to provide technical leadership and coordination within multidisciplinary projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the E&I Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Independently lead the electrical and instrumentation discipline from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
Make technical decisions regarding materials and applications, considering environmental factors.
Collaborate closely with internal project teams, the Project Manager, and external partners.
Interpret and assess electrical diagrams and cable calculations, providing solutions where needed.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the E&I Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

Relevant degree in electrical engineering or equivalent through experience.
Extensive industry experience in electrical systems and industrial instrumentation.
A working knowledge and practical experience with ATEX guidelines and applications.
