Business Unit/Role Specific Information

US Consumer Services (USCS): The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for a Summer Product Development Graduate intern to support the team on critical and innovative projects. The summer intern will own a project contributing to either the launch or evolution of our card, lending, or membership (I.e. travel, dining, etc.) services products.

This person will contribute to product vision, strategy, and delivery of our digital products and gain invaluable experience.

Product Managers at American Express play a central role identifying customer needs, building outstanding experiences, and leading teams across the company to launch these products. This is a fast-paced team driving the development of card member solutions and partner experiences at American Express.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program.
Master's degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.

Preferred Qualifications
Proven interest in card, lend or membership focused products (I.e. travel, dining, etc.).
Accountability for the end-to-end experience, immersed in the customer experience and performance metrics.
Phenomenal team player who is naturally curious about how things work, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Consistently seeks feedback from a diverse group of colleagues and partners, demonstrating clear actions taken to respond.
Entrepreneurial thinker who's organized, have great attention to detail, and can multi-task.
Strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills.
Willing to take risks, experiment, and share fresh perspectives.
Proficient in analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present ideas clearly.

Salary Range: $38.45 to $87.00 hourly + sign-on bonus

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
