This is a hybrid role in Downtown Toronto!!!

Contract or FT

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain intuitive, performant, and secure interfaces that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable tools. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product, design, and domain experts to shape the next generation of decision-support systems.

What You'll Do:

Own features end-to-end: Design, develop, test, and deliver core frontend capabilities across internal SaaS and analytics tools.
Become a product expert: Learn portfolio monitoring and investment analysis workflows; partner with end users to iterate quickly.
Invent where there's no template: Create elegant dashboards and financial interfaces from first principles; set UI/UX standards.
Build for scale & security: Turn multi-layered data requirements into performant, maintainable, and secure solutions.
Shape architecture: Work with Product/Design/Backend on early, high-impact decisions around data flows and component design.
Integrate analytics & AI: Surface real-time and AI-powered insights for sourcing, valuation, and performance tracking.
Wear multiple hats: Jump between UI, data visualization, API integration, and workflow design in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

4+ years building production web applications.
Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
Skilled with data-viz libraries (e.g., Recharts, D3.js, Highcharts).
Comfortable with CSS frameworks and component libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS, Radix UI, shadcn/ui, MUI, Ant Design).
Solid grasp of UI architecture, testing, and frontend performance best practices.
Strong problem-solving, clear communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership or ownership on projects; thrives in cross-functional teams.
Growth mindset; curious about new technologies, frameworks, and methods.
