Optomi, in partnership with a large financial services firm, is hiring a Senior API Developer to join a high-impact group responsible for one of the most visible areas of their platform. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of critical functionality at the heart of the user experience!

About the Role:

Work on the Accounts API project, supporting user account views across mobile and web platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute across multiple parts of the stack
Be part of a highly visible team with strong organizational impact

Must Have:

Strong senior-level experience as an API developer
Expertise in RESTful APIs
Proficiency in AWS
Experience with Node.js and TypeScript

Nice to Have:

Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Familiarity with GraphQL, Apigee, or Kong

Position and Location Requirements:

Candidates must be local to the Charlotte, NC area
This is a hybrid role: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote each week
Must be able to work as a W2 employee (no C2C or 1099)
