Description: Onboarding Specialist - 3-month contract

Role Summary: This position is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days in office at 4350 West Cypress St , STE 1000, Tampa, FL, 33602. $20/hr- 40-hour work week.

Serves as a Human Resources liaison for our sales and operations teams. This position coordinates onboarding processes and procedures to ensure compliance is met for all pre-employment screening requirements. This includes but is not limited to, background and drug screening, obtaining of all required documents, verification of employment eligibility, personnel file creation/maintenance, consistent follow up with candidates, clients and internal team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Create an engaging and supportive onboarding experience for all candidates
Facilitate background checks and drug testing per client and Hays requirements
Routinely follow up with candidates, recruiters, account managers and outside vendors regarding the onboarding process, missing paperwork, status of background checks/drug screens and other items as needed
Gather, review and consolidate pertinent data and develop/prepare HR reports and personnel files
Perform extensive data entry into multiple online systems
Assist in filing in personnel files and process documentation
Provide excellent customer service to internal team members and candidates

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
Proficient in knowledge sharing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Proficient in data entry
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt priorities as needed
Ability to follow direction and established processes
Ability to work in a team environment with moderate supervision

Education & Experience

High school graduate, Associate degree preferred. 1-2 years' experience in a high volume, detail oriented, fast paced office environment. Human Resources experience preferred.
