JAVA IBM CLOUD SDLC FINANCE AGILE

On behalf of our client in the banking sector, we are seeking a Senior Java / IBM Cloud Expert with Tech Lead responsibilities to join their team for Application Development.

As a hands-on expert, you will be involved in end-to-end development, including front-end components for web applications and backend systems in a cloud environment. You will also oversee quality assurance, delivery management, and stakeholder alignment, while promoting best practices in software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and security.

Tasks:

Create detailed technical designs and document development activities including design, code, unit testing, and code reviews.
Define, document, and promote development standards across teams.
Ensure adoption of guidelines and provide coaching and mentoring to developers.
Review designs and code from external suppliers to maintain quality standards.
Manage project delivery to ensure alignment with quality and performance expectations.
Engage IT stakeholders (Architecture, Infrastructure, Risk & Security) and monitor dependencies for timely project completion.

Profile:

At least 10 years of relevant experience in Java development, with proven experience in IBM Cloud (preferably within a banking entity).
Strong Java development skills, with the ability to work autonomously and lead technical initiatives.
Proficiency in English, with a good level in at least one local language (French or Dutch).
