Title: Senior Lead Software Engineer - Back End

Location: Plano, TX

Type: Fulltime

We're seeking an experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer specializing in backend development to help drive large-scale transformation efforts across critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead multiple backend engineering initiatives and mentor a team of developers focused on distributed microservices and full-stack solutions to support business-critical operations and regulatory requirements.
Drive innovation by exploring and adopting emerging technologies, contributing to internal and external technical communities, and guiding best practices in backend engineering.
Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, cloud-native solutions that enhance customer experience and system resilience.
Leverage modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Scala, and SQL, alongside relational and NoSQL databases.
Work with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly AWS and its associated services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
At least 6 years of hands-on professional experience in software engineering.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a technical discipline.
9+ years of backend software development experience using Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
4+ years of experience working with open-source frameworks and tools.
1+ year of experience in engineering leadership or team management.
2+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
