About Host Guest
Host Guest is a U.S.-based startup founded in 2024 and officially registered in Georgia in 2025. We connect international students, out-of-state students, and cultural travelers with welcoming, verified host families across the United States. Our platform is designed to create belonging, safety, and personal connection.
We are preparing to launch our platform in Fall 2025 and are looking for motivated students who want to gain hands-on experience in content creation and marketing.
The Role: Student Ambassador & Content Creator Intern
We are seeking creative and enthusiastic students who are passionate about social media, storytelling, and community. As a Student Ambassador, you will help us bring the Host Guest mission to life through authentic content and student-driven outreach.
This internship is unpaid, but it is designed as a learning experience. You will develop skills in digital marketing, content creation, and startup growth. Outstanding interns will be considered for performance bonuses and potential paid part-time roles after the internship.
What You Will Learn
How to create engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
How to build a personal content portfolio that appeals to employers and brands
Basics of digital marketing, including campaign planning and audience engagement
How startups build awareness and traction from the ground up
Real-world collaboration with a marketing team in a remote-first environment
Communication, teamwork, and project management skills
Key Responsibilities
Film and edit weekly short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, and stories)
Share authentic stories about student life, cultural exchange, and community
Contribute to brainstorm sessions for creative campaigns and social trends
Promote Host Guest within student groups, clubs, and networks on campus
Submit content on schedule and incorporate feedback from the team
Represent Host Guest with enthusiasm, professionalism, and creativity
Qualifications
Current university student in the United States
Passionate about content creation and digital storytelling
Active user of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Comfortable filming, editing, and appearing in front of the camera
Basic editing skills using tools like CapCut, Canva, or iMovie
Strong communication skills, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Excited to learn about marketing, startups, and cultural exchange
Internship Details
Unpaid internship (Fall 2025 semester)
Flexible, 5-8 hours per week
Performance-based bonuses available for outstanding contributions (up to $500)
Potential extension into a paid part-time role after internship
Start date is Sep 16, 2025
Remote with flexibility for campus-based content creation
