The Merchandising Strategy Associate is a critical member of the Merchandising team, responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and analysis. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and has direct exposure to senior leadership, contributing reporting and insights to support commercial plans, investment reviews, and other key milestone meetings. By providing visibility into sales performance, product trends, and competitive positioning, the person plays an integral role in shaping strategic merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities

Sales & Performance Reporting

Create and distribute weekly and monthly sales reporting, including divisional recaps, style selling, Top 20 product/color performance, and capsule launches
Build and refine Excel-based reporting tools and dashboards to support Merchandising, Planning, and eCommerce teams
Manage ad hoc reporting requests to provide timely insights for leadership and business partners

Business Analysis & Insights

Conduct seasonal hindsight reporting, including global sell-in/sell-out analysis, product trends, and competitive benchmarking
Provide insights on merchandising attributes by season to inform strategy and assortment decisions
Partner with leadership on commercial plan building by incorporating product investment priorities and storytelling
Support pricing and segmentation analysis to inform competitive positioning and product strategy by channel

Strategic Support & Leadership Reporting

Prepare analysis and roll-ups of divisional KPIs for leadership milestone meetings (e.g., Investment Reviews, Financial Reviews, Seasonal Strategy sessions)
Deliver clear, data-backed recaps that directly support SVP and C-level decision-making
Gain unique exposure to senior leadership through the preparation and delivery of reporting and analysis that influence high-level strategies

Data Governance & Systems

Ensure data integrity across merchandising tools & systems, including attributes and reporting platforms
Support the cutover and maintenance of reporting systems (e.g., Lighthouse/MicroStrategy, Power BI, SAP)
Validate data accuracy to ensure reliable reporting and business insights

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Analytics, or related discipline
2-4 years of experience in Merchandising, Business Analysis, or a related field (retail/apparel preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Lighthouse/MicroStrategy, Power BI, and SAP strongly preferred
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
Strong foundation in merchandising fundamentals and retail math
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to or supporting senior leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs

Pay Range:$74,100---$100,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
