Contract Role: Platform Architect - Defence Cloud Programme

We are supporting a major new programme of work, delivered in collaboration with a global technology partner. This involves multiple PS100m+ cloud transformation initiatives, and we are seeking experienced Platform Architects to join the programme team.

The Role

As a Platform Architect, you will design and deliver secure, scalable platform architectures in a highly sensitive environment. Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders, you will translate requirements into practical designs, guide technical delivery, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key Requirements

Active DV clearance (essential).
Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - architecture, design and integration.
Strong knowledge of secure cloud and infrastructure design.
Hands-on approach - able to engage with both high-level design and detailed delivery.
Previous experience in Defence or other secure government settings.

Assignment Details

Location: South West (4 days per week onsite).
Contract: 6 months initially, with extensions expected.
IR35: Inside IR35.
