Duration: Contract

Salary Range: $35-$40/hour

Summary

We are seeking an IT Asset Manager to oversee the administration of end-user devices and the deployment of Microsoft Intune for enterprise management. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate asset tracking, enforcing compliance standards, and managing the complete lifecycle of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. The right candidate will be highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with ITSM platforms, and capable of driving process improvements that support security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle records for all IT assets, including procurement, deployment, support, and retirement.

Configure and manage Microsoft Intune to handle device enrollment, applications, compliance, and security settings.

Ensure device information such as ownership, location, and lifecycle stage is kept current in the ITSM platform.

Partner with security and IT leadership to enforce compliance and governance standards.

Oversee secure device recovery and decommissioning processes, including data protection and chain-of-custody procedures.

Develop and maintain documentation, asset reports, and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.

Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance enforcement.

Proven knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management across laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, or similar.

Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.

Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and detail.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across IT, security, and business teams.
