Job Specifications

Join our dynamic team as a Systems Engineer III, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing and automating IT systems to support our mission of fostering economic stability. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work both on-site in Kansas City and remotely.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the eBusiness engineering team to streamline and automate Authentication, Authorization, Web Gateway, and API services.
Design and develop code for Access Management Services to enhance automation processes and CI/CD pipelines.
Improve existing processes and create new automated health checks to reduce manual tasks and errors.
Integrate system monitoring for auto incident creation and self-healing based on environmental health.
Enable "no touch deployment" to expedite time to market and streamline work intake requests.

Skills

Proficiency in Ansible Tower, GitLab, Python, and Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with Shell scripting, Identity and Access Management Systems (IAM), and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, and Argo CD.
Agile methodology experience.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
Experience with IBM Security products and SQL.
Familiarity with JavaScript, ServiceNow, and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Understanding of Ansible Automation Hub, Ansible Galaxy, and Nexus.
