X4 Technology are partnered with a well-backed, high-growth commodities trading firm to recruit a Frontend Engineer for one of their newly established trading desks.

This is a high-impact, front-office facing role, directly supporting traders by designing and developing greenfield front-end applications. You'll contribute to a high-performance UI layer that enables fast, informed trading decisions - delivering everything from interactive trading dashboards to real-time charting and analytics tools.

You'll work in a modern tech environment, with a front-end stack centred on Angular and Azure-native services for deployment and integration. The back-end is primarily built in Python (FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy), though the team value engineers with the versatility to adapt their stack and workflows to meet the demands of a front-office trading environment

Key requirements for the Contract Frontend Developer (Commodities Trading)

Proven experience building front-end solutions within commodities trading
Front-end specialist with strong commercial expertise in Angular
Familiarity with Python (FastAPI, Pandas, or NumPy)
Comfortable working closely with traders in a fast-paced, iterative development cycle

The role is for a 6 month initial contract with scope to extend. The rate is PS850-900/d (inside IR35) depending on experience. Please apply online for immediate consideration.
