Job Title: AI Test Engineer

Day Rate: PS300 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Cambridge
Contract: 6-month rolling

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented AI Test Engineer to design, execute, and automate test strategies for AI/ML systems. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and accuracy of AI solutions by developing robust test frameworks, validating models, and monitoring performance in production. This role requires both QA expertise and an understanding of AI/ML workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ yrs of experience into QA

Proven experience as a Test Engineer / QA Engineer in a similar role with strong experience to AI/ML projects.

Strong programming skills in Python (pytest, unittest, or other test frameworks).

Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement test plans for AI/ML applications, APIs, and pipelines.

Validate machine learning models, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and robustness.

Develop automated testing frameworks for data pipelines, model training, and inference.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on AI systems.

Work closely with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards.

Monitor production AI systems and set up alerts for anomalies or performance drops.
