Pay Rate: $75-$82/hour
Shift/Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Overtime: Not expected
Job Summary:
Join our Quantitative Analytics team as an Application Developer (.NET Developer) and play a pivotal role in modernizing a mission-critical Front Office application used daily by over 1,000 users. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies in a high-performance financial environment while collaborating with a skilled and globally distributed team.Key Responsibilities:
Refactor legacy codebases, implement multithreaded solutions, and architect scalable and high-performance systems
Develop and maintain Windows Services for background processing
Integrate data between applications and financial models using Excel Interop, XML processing, and serialization
Build and consume REST APIs for integration with financial data sources
Collaborate with quantitative analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and maintainability
Perform performance profiling, debugging, and implement unit testing to support automated testing strategies
Required Experience:
10+ years of C#, WinForms, .NET 7/8 development
5+ years with WPF development
7+ years with multithreading/parallel processing (TPL, async/await, locks)
5+ years building Windows Services
5+ years working with XML processing and serialization
5+ years of SQL database experience
5+ years with Git, CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity preferred)
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Cloud integration with Azure or AWS
Python scripting for automation and data processing
Knowledge of OTC derivatives or financial instruments
Banking or financial services industry background
Required Skills:
Advanced C#/.NET programming
WinForms and WPF application development
Multithreading and performance optimization
Windows Services and system integration
SQL and XML-based data handling
Preferred Skills:
Cloud technology (Azure/AWS)
Python scripting for automation
Financial systems or derivatives knowledge
Git and TeamCity CI/CD
API integration experience
