IT Infrastructure Engineer - Hedge Fund - up to PS80,000 Salary + Bonus

Do you enjoy supporting users, but also love the technical work involved with projects? Look no further.

You're going to be coming into a hedge fund environment where everyone in the technology team work together to ensure systems and tools are running at all times. You'll be working on interesting project work about 50% of the time, whilst picking up BAU support work for the other half.

This is a mainly on-site position, being very hands on with the team during your BAU tasks, but there is some flexibility to work from home every now and then when required. You'll be working closely with the Head of Infrastructure and CTO and your initial projects will include an SD-WAN migration, cloud migration and various other modernisation projects.

From a more BAU perspective, you'll be supporting a team of under 100 users, predominantly in the UK. There are other offices in Europe and Asia but a lot of your work will be confined to the UK office. They're keen to modernise as much as possible and automate where they can to increase efficiencies with tools like PowerShell, Ansible and Terraform! If you're keen to learn new things and suggest new tools to use, this could be the ideal place for you.

In terms of your experience, you'll need to have worked on project based work before and be keen to continue with BAU tasks. You'll need strong experience in a windows environment and some scripting experience. You'll be working in a multi cloud environment so experience of some cloud tech (either AWS or Azure) would be great too.

This is a boutique hedge fund environment where you'll have a great chance to learn and improve skills across cloud platforms, Networking stack, Palo Alto firewalls and various automation tools. Starting salary will be up to PS80,000 depending on experience and you'll also be part of the discretionary bonus scheme that could take you past six figures in the best years.
