A little about us
It all started in 2020, with our founder, Barney baking cinnamon buns in his mum's kitchen during lockdown. Fast forward a few years, and buns from home is now a fast growing family of bakeries scattered across London, loved for our iconic buns and exciting weekend specials. We're a cheerful, tight-knit team passionate about constantly creating really really yummy baking that has our customers leaving us happy and full.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a Head of Marketing to craft seasonal campaigns that bring our buns (and sometimes drinks) to life in a way that feels true to us. You'll be responsible for creating campaigns that stick - thoughtful, creative, and always connected to our brand.
At buns from home, our seasonal campaigns are how we introduce new products and share what we're excited about. As our Head of Marketing, you'll lead the charge, balancing creativity with strategy. You'll know how to adapt the marketing mix to meet different goals and create work that resonates with our community. Alongside this, you'll oversee our digital channels.
Here's what you'll be up to:
Shaping the big picture: Help us map out where we want to go as a brand and how we can get there, balancing strategy with execution across all channels.
Bringing buns to life online: Plan and run global & local digital marketing campaigns including paid social and search that really speak to our London communities.
Owning the inbox: Lead our digital marketing efforts from product launches to automated flows keeping our community engaged and excited.
Crunching numbers: Track how our campaigns are doing, learn what's working, and tweak things to make them even better.
Staying smart with spend: Keep an eye on the marketing budget and make sure we're putting it to good use.
Telling our story: Oversee all the content we share, making sure it feels true to us - l home baking that's real, joyful and overflowing with flavour.
Creating the deliciousness: Create content for our digital channels, with a big focus on showcasing what we do best, new product launches, key partnerships and our weekend specials.
Keeping the convo going: Chat with our community online, focus on growing our digital following, and share snippets of life at Buns from Home.
Working together: Team up with our bakers, shop teams, and everyone else at Buns from Home to make sure we're all on the same page.
What we'd love you to bring:
5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital; if you've worked in food, drink, or hospitality, even better.
A solid track record of running paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms from strategy to optimisation.
Confident with email marketing: you know how to build a good flow, write a great subject line, and get people clicking.
Strong content instincts: you know how to make things look and sound great, and how to bring a brand to life online.
An eye for numbers: you're comfortable with performance data and know how to turn insights into smart, practical decisions.
A self-starter mindset: you're proactive, hands-on, and happy taking ownership from day one.
Great people skills and the ability to bring a team together.
A love of food, community, and all the little moments that make life joyful.
What's in it for you?
A competitive salary (and plenty of buns!).
The chance to grow with us as we keep expanding across London and maybe further!
A fun, supportive workplace where you can make a real impact.
