A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Application Security Lead

Location: Plano Texas 75024 (Onsite)
Description:
As an Application Security Lead , you will be :-
Leading the design and implementation of application security policies, standards, and secure development best practices.
Guiding a team of skilled application security engineers to proactively secure products and infrastructure.
Fostering a culture of security awareness across development and engineering teams.
Performing comprehensive security assessments across the SDLC to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Collaborating closely with developers to integrate secure coding standards, code analysis, and security testing into daily workflows.
Offering hands-on guidance in secure architecture, threat modelling, and incident response.
Managing application security testing activities, including static/dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
Monitoring application-level security incidents and leading coordinated response efforts.
Staying informed on emerging threats, technologies, and trends to ensure the organization remains one step ahead.
Developing and delivering security training programs tailored to developers and key stakeholders.
Ensuring secure usage of third-party and open-source components across applications.
Maintaining clear, accessible documentation for security architecture, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Local candidates preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on application security.
Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and controls.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity regulations, compliance requirements, and data protection laws.
Hands-on experience in cyber incident response and remediation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will :- Experience in cybersecurity, cybersecurity regulations, compliance requirements, data protection laws and cyber incident response.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: OR $70 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
