Job Specifications

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and issue accurate invoices in accordance with company policies and client contracts
Review billing data for completeness and accuracy before invoice processing
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any client billing issues promptly
Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and communications
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to ensure accurate billing and account data
Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
Ensure compliance with all relevant billing procedures and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Previous experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Experience in healthcare, legal, SaaS, etc. is a plus
