Founding Engineer

An applied AI startup building automation software for complex, high-stakes workflows in regulated industries are looking for a Founding Engineer to join their team.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Founding Engineer, you'll work directly with the co-founders to design, build, and deploy AI-first products that automate the workflows of enterprise certification companies.

You'll ship production-ready systems from day one, using tools like LangChain, RAG, and LLM agents, and build scalable backend infrastructure with relational databases, indexing, and semantic search. This is a fast-moving, full-ownership role -- part builder, part operator, part product thinker.

Who We're Looking For:

2-4+ years of engineering experience
Deep experience working with LLMs, LangChain, agents, and infrastructure
Experience with backend systems: relational databases, containers, and cloud platforms
You're proactive, fast, and comfortable with ambiguity
You want to build something important, in-person, with a team that works hard and cares
