Java Backend Developer
Contract
Mississauga, ON (Hybrid 3 Days)
Mid Java backend developer is responsible to lead the design and development of backend systems and microservices. Role requires strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with the ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with broader database, integration, and cloud technologies, while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross functional teams.
Qualifications:
* Experience: 6+ years of backend development experience.
* Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
* Hands on experience with databases, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB
* Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), and cloud environments (ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and CI/CD automation pipelines.
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
