Schelstraete Delacourt is looking for a Product Developer for Richa.

Richa is a Belgian brand specialized in motorcycle apparel, footwear and accessories. The Richa brand is sold in more than 40 countries worldwide.

As a Product Developer at Richa, your main responsibility is to oversee he development and design of high-quality motorcycle clothing and accessories. This includes the entire product development process, ensuring seamless coordination between external designers, production teams, and company mangement and owners, as well as working alongside a more junior profile.

Your job duties include

Managing the entire product development process, from strategy and design phase through to production.
Organizing concept development in line with Richa DNA & quality, illustrations and technical packages through the product process to lead to wearable garments.
Developing and implementation of a vision for the entire Richa Collection (motorbike apparel and accessories), together with management and the owners of the company
Conceptualizing and designing new products based on customer needs and industry trends.
Collaborating with designers to create sketches and prototypes of new products.
Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of samples, materials and components.
Maintaining detailed records of product development, including design specifications, production schedules, and cost estimates.
Continuously evaluating and improving product designs to meet changing customer needs and industry trends.

Profile

A degree in Product Development, fashion design, fashion-engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong asset if you have proven experience in development technical garments, waterproof protective clothing, technical gloves or footwear.

Collection development strategic vision - A to Z development - sparring & working closely with the external creative team, strategically guarding the RICHA brand its collection and DNA.
Affinity with motorcycle gear is a plus
