A leading cybersecurity and networking company is looking for a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to join its Belgian team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who wants to use deep technical expertise in a customer-facing presales role.

The role

As a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer, you'll act as the crucial technical bridge between sales teams, customers, and engineering. You'll design, validate, and present cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that address complex requirements across enterprise networks. From building POCs to contributing to RFPs, your expertise will be key in shaping solutions that make a real difference.

Key responsibilities

Act as the technical authority in customer meetings and presentations.
Translate customer requirements into detailed cybersecurity solution designs.
Develop and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase solution viability.
Create proposals, technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and solution documentation.
Stay ahead of emerging threats, trends, and technologies in cybersecurity.
Benchmark and analyze competitor products to demonstrate technical advantages.
Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation.

What's needed

5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Presales Engineer.
Strong hands-on expertise with technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, and Armis.
Solid understanding of SIEM, EDR, and NDR; knowledge of SOAR is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g. FCP, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GCIH).
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Fluent in English, with at least a basic knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
Based in Belgium, with flexibility for hybrid working.
