Position: ServiceNow Discovery Developer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Contract Position

Only on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Developer to join our team. The role involves researching and resolving issues related to discovery patterns, updating and enhancing existing patterns, and providing support for related incidents. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in operating systems, regular expressions, and cloud platforms, combined with hands-on ServiceNow Discovery development experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, analyze, and resolve issues related to ServiceNow Discovery patterns.
Design, develop, test, and update ServiceNow Discovery patterns as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to ServiceNow Discovery and related components.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure accurate discovery of enterprise systems.
Utilize strong OS knowledge (Windows and Linux) to design effective discovery solutions.
Apply Regular Expressions (Regex) for parsing, pattern recognition, and automation tasks.
Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) to support hybrid/cloud discovery initiatives.
Ensure compliance with best practices and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Development.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Proficiency with Regular Expressions (Regex).
Experience with cloud concepts and services (GCP, Azure, AWS).
Active ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules.
Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and device discovery.
Scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python).
