Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and safety-conscious Laboratory Technician to support lab operations, safety, and environmental systems for our client in Foster Creek, AB. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders on projects related to R&D, operations optimization, compliance, and production. You will also carry out both routine and non-routine lab testing, ensuring accurate data entry for Operations, MARP, EPAP, Compliance, Regulatory, Production Accounting, Reservoir, and Sales Oil.
Location: Foster Creek, AB
Shift: 7/7, 11 hours 26 minutes, Thur - Wed. 80hrs/rotation.

Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses to support assets and stakeholders.
Accurately capture, report, and communicate laboratory data.
Adhere to all laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
Maintain the laboratory in an organized condition, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, managing samples, and handling waste disposal.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Perform and document daily QA/QC checks for all lab instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements; proactively identify and report potential issues.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Chemical Technology (Preferred)
Bachelor of Science (Asset)
H2S Alive Certification (Required)
Microsoft Office proficiency (Required)
Minimum Class 5 Driver's License (Required) - must be able to drive a company vehicle
Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to maintaining safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
