As a CGI Technical Graduate you'll be trusted with responsibility from the start. Your Future Duties And Responsibilities

In this role, you'll apply your STEM expertise to help shape industries, improve services, and create meaningful societal change by harnessing the power of technology to drive innovation. You will:

Design, develop, and test technical solutions for live projects across various sectors such as Government, Energy & Utilities, Retail Oil & Gas, Health, Financial services, and Manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex real-world challenges.
Explore and apply emerging technologies in areas such as AI, cloud, data analytics and IoT.
Innovate alongside other graduates, taking part in early careers initiatives that go beyond your day-to-day role.

Locations

Technical Graduate roles are available in London, Leatherhead, Chippenham, Reading, Bristol, Gloucester, Manchester, Aberdeen, Belfast, Bridgend, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Solihull, Telford.

As CGI is a consultancy, you may be required to work in different locations, so adaptability and a willingness to travel are key.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

We're seeking ambitious graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to apply their skills to projects that make a real difference. You'll bring an excellent academic background in STEM, curiosity to explore new ideas, and adaptability to take on diverse projects across the UK.

You Should Have

A minimum 2:2 degree in computer science, engineering, physics, maths, or a related STEM field (some roles may require a 2:1).
Passion for technology and innovation, with a problem-solving mindset.
Adaptability to travel and work on projects across the UK.
Eligibility for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with many roles requiring higher National Security Vetting (typically 5-10 years of continuous UK residency).

Technical Skills We Value Include

Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more of C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Systems & Tools: Familiarity with Linux/Unix, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Cloud Technologies: Exposure to platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Software Development Practices: Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Networking & Cybersecurity: Awareness of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity principles (highly valuable for defence-related projects).
Data & Analytics: Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or analytics tools; interest in machine learning or AI technologies is a plus.
