Join a pioneering UK-based AI company at the forefront of agentic software and LLM deployment in regulated sectors. We're seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of AI-driven programmes that bridge cutting-edge research and real-world deployment.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of secure, compliant AI systems in defence and aerospace. You'll coordinate multi-team execution across engineering, DevOps, and product, ensuring agentic features ship safely, on time, and to spec.
The Role:
Programme ownership across multiple AI initiatives, from initial scoping through to live deployment
Agile leadership across Scrum and Kanban workflows, with clear metrics and outcome-driven iteration
Release coordination across QA, evaluation, and stakeholder readiness, ensuring smooth transitions to production
Infrastructure alignment with DevOps and engineering teams, covering environments, monitoring, and rollback strategies
Oversight of third-party deliverables and integrations, ensuring contractual and compliance benchmarks are met
Translation of product strategy into actionable delivery plans across AI, frontend, backend, and platform teams
External representation in partner engagements, bid support, and strategic programme discussions
AI Project/Programme Focus:
Lead delivery of LLM-based features, multi-agent pipelines, and RAG systems across secure and constrained environments
Collaborate with technical leads to evolve research prototypes into scalable, maintainable production systems
Ensure deployments meet audit, cost, and reversibility standards for regulated use cases
Experience Required:
Active SC clearance or eligibility for UK national security vetting
5+ years of experience managing software and AI projects with diverse stakeholder groups
Track record of delivering across modern stacks (React, Python/Django/FastAPI/Flask)
Direct experience integrating LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows into real-world applications
Strong command of scope, budget, and risk management; comfortable reviewing code and surfacing trade-offs
Familiarity with compliance and security protocols in sectors like defence, healthcare, or finance
