Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to integrate our AI client’s platform and services. You’ll bring a strong track record delivering technology solutions in a structured fashion and a clear grasp of current trends across AI and software delivery.

You’ll be a core member of the commercial delivery team—shaping bids, leading teams delivering technology as well as managing projects yourself, and will become a key contact for clients across a portfolio of contracts. You’ll be fluent in multiple project methodologies, displaying evidence of on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outcomes. Experience on the supplier side delivering software to customers (rather than in-house) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

·      Deliver integration / implementation projects – software / platform for testing, evaluation and assurance of AI

·      Plan and mobilise projects - define scope, milestones, estimates, dependencies and governance

·      Direct cross-functional delivery - manage schedules, budgets and quality standards; maintain RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) and delivery reporting

·      Control scope and change - assess impacts, costs and risks, and secure approvals

·      Coordinate testing and acceptance and ensure security, privacy and compliance readiness with customer teams

·      Act as primary stakeholder contact - keep communication clear, decisions logged and alignment tight; support bids and proposals with credible delivery plans

Minimum Qualifications / Characteristics

·      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science or Project Management)

·      3+ years of experience managing software / technology / AI-focused projects (supplier side experience preferred)

·      Proven experience in delivering projects using Agile, PRINCE2 or other recognised methodologies

·      Some experience of managing delivery teams (no more than 1 year needed here)

·      Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage customer relationships

·      A British citizen / able to get security clearance if needs be

Optional / Ideal Experience

·      Knowledge of AI / ML technologies and risk management

·      Experience working with large, regulated industries, e.g. Financial Services

·      Some experience working in a rapidly scaling technology company / startup beneficial

NB. Our client is a startup technology business that hasn't taken on any external funding yet. This role would suit someone who is in their first or second project management role, perhaps someone who has cut their PM teeth in a large, global technology company and now wants to try their hand in a rapidly growing startup.
