Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Engineer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some work from home options available. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing security systems and measures. The role entails proactive monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices. In addition, the Senior Engineer will mentor junior team members, enforce compliance with industry regulations, and contribute to the strategic security roadmap.

Qualifications

Proficiency in DevSecOps, automation, and security systems design
Experience with proactive monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security best practices
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with cloud security, network security, and application security
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
Related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous
