Blacklock is partnering with a middle-market private equity firm in New York managing ~$8B+ in AUM. The firm focuses on control buyouts and growth-oriented investments across financial services, business services, and industrial sectors. With a strong track record of value creation and a collaborative investment culture, they are looking to add a highly motivated Associate to their growing team.

The Role:

Play an integral role in evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and building detailed financial models
Support deal execution, including transaction structuring, negotiations, and closing processes
Work closely with portfolio company management to drive strategic growth and operational improvements
Monitor financial/operational performance of existing investments and prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate:

2-3 years of investment banking, consulting, or private equity experience
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
Bachelor's degree from a top university; strong academic track record
