Job Title: Research Engineer - Machine Learning, Computer Vision & Generative AI

Location: Basking Ridge , NJ

Contract Duration: Up to 18 months

Rate-50-70/hour

Job Summary:

About the Role:

Join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming user experiences through cutting-edge machine learning and world knowledge. We are seeking Research Engineers to collaborate with a diverse group of researchers in developing state-of-the-art (SOTA) solutions in Generative AI, Computer Vision (CV), and Computer Graphics (CG). This role offers the opportunity to contribute to next-generation applications and drive innovation in applied research.

We welcome candidates at all levels--from emerging researchers to seasoned experts passionate about advancing technology at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement SOTA machine learning algorithms, with a focus on Generative ML and fine-tuning LLMs/LVMs.
Contribute to the full ML lifecycle: data acquisition & annotation, model design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
Develop innovative system solutions and open-source prototypes.
Generate high-value intellectual property (IPRs/patents) and publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Collaborate in a fast-paced, flexible, and highly collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with PyTorch and other ML platforms.
Strong programming skills in Python, C, or C++ for Windows and/or Linux.
Deep knowledge and practical experience in Computer Vision or Computer Graphics is a strong plus.
Familiarity with open-source software frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability in technology research and innovation.
Proven record of influential publications in relevant fields is a strong advantage.
