Job Specifications
The Oracle Senior Application Support is responsible for providing advanced support and oversight for Oracle-based RMCS system, including troubleshooting complex issues, managing escalations, monitoring system performance, and supporting Oracle system administration. This role leads initiatives to improve support processes, mentors junior analysts, and acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPM platforms (e.g., Financials, EDM), and a collaborative mindset to ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Oracle RMCS systems, resolving advanced issues related to access, data integrity, system configuration, and performance.
Monitor and proactively manage support queues (e.g., Jira), ensuring SLAs are met, tickets are appropriately prioritized, and resolution quality is high.
Lead root cause analysis and permanent resolution efforts for recurring incidents or systemic issues.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 support analysts; review work for accuracy, completeness, and best practice alignment.
Partner with business users, application owners, and IT teams to identify support needs, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), support documentation, and escalation protocols.
Assist in Oracle ERP and EPM release and patch management, leading smoke testing, impact analysis, and validation of business-critical functionality.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline support workflows, reduce resolution time, and enhance user experience.
Provide after-hours support or participate in on-call rotation for critical issues or planned maintenance activities.
Support End of Month and End of Quarter Tasks.
Skills and Experience:
Mainly looking for strong RMCS, T2 and T3 support oracle fusion cloud version
Proven working experience with Oracle ERP and EPM system
Excellent Organizational Skills (Required)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (Required).
Excellent Critical Thinking Process (Required).
Experience with the Salesforce.com platform (Preferred).
Fluency in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of JIRA or similar project management software (Preferred).
Experience in systems implementation methodologies including waterfall and agile.
Experience gathering inputs and synthesizing into business outcomes.
Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work on projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently complete time sensitive tasks.
