Job Specifications

We have partnered with our client in their search for a API Developer in Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities:

Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
Set up a monitoring stack.
Define service capacity planning strategies.
Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.

Skills Required:

Java, Spring Boot,
Experience with API development
Strong experience of cloud native application development (e.g., AWS)
Experience in API Gateways, Apache Kafka, Cassandra or other NoSQL DB

Nice to Have:

Awareness about CI/CD, test automation methodologies
Awareness on python, spark as programming languages
Knowledge on Kubernetes platform

Observability platform Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics or Dynatrace

Education & Work Experience:

6 - 12 years of related work experience
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
