Job Specifications
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Systems Administrator with strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and Intune (Endpoint Manager/MDM). This individual will play a critical role in managing, securing, and optimizing the organization's core Microsoft infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting enterprise-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user provisioning, group policies, authentication, and domain services.
Manage and support Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and/or hybrid), including mailbox management, distribution lists, policies, and troubleshooting.
Administer and configure SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software packaging, patching, updates, and endpoint lifecycle management.
Deploy, configure, and manage Intune (Endpoint Manager / MDM) for mobile device and application management, compliance policies, and security baselines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across AD, Exchange, SCCM, and Intune environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce policies such as MFA, conditional access, and endpoint security.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Support migrations, upgrades, and integration projects across Microsoft technologies.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Provide escalation support and knowledge sharing for junior team members.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and Intune in enterprise environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows Server, group policies, and authentication protocols.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure AD, M365).
Familiarity with endpoint security, patch management, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, MCSE, or equivalent.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
Exposure to Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint, and cloud-based Exchange.
Knowledge of enterprise security best practices (Zero Trust, IAM).
