Senior IT Infrastructure Risk Project Manager

100% Remote (Canada)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a critical initiative aimed at strengthening IT risk posture across Enterprise Technology Services (ETS). This role will drive the implementation of new capabilities, metrics (KRAs/KPIs), and controls to improve infrastructure risk management, with a focus on servers, infrastructure components, asset lifecycle/disposal, inventory management, and disaster recovery. The Project Manager will work closely with governance, infrastructure, audit, and cybersecurity teams to coordinate workshops, establish processes, and align stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives to enhance infrastructure risk management and compliance posture.
Drive the design and implementation of new capabilities, metrics, and controls (KRAs/KPIs).
Coordinate workshops with governance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and audit stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Monitor and track deliverables, ensuring timelines are met and risks/issues are addressed promptly.
Facilitate consensus across diverse stakeholders with differing perspectives.
Support capability-building efforts and ensure processes are sustainable long term.

Must-Have Skills

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with the ability to drive complex programs and keep initiatives on track.
Background in infrastructure (servers, infra components, asset lifecycle, disaster recovery).
Strong understanding of IT risk management (controls, processes, KRIs/KPIs).
Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Ability to coordinate with governance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and audit teams.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of asset disposal lifecycle (sanitization, destruction principles).
Exposure to audit processes (internal/external) and regulatory requirements.
Experience with capability-building initiatives in IT risk management.
Familiarity with inventory management processes and documentation best practices.
