Job Specifications

Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer (JAVA / REACT)

Pay Rate: $70/hr onwards (negotiable based on experience & engagement type)

Duration: 6-months (with possible extension)

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA or Reston, VA

PREFER W2 (NO SPONSORSHIP IS available for the role) - OPEN for C2C / 1099

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will play a critical role in delivering advanced AI capabilities, improving backend infrastructure, and enhancing user experiences through scalable and efficient software development.

Key Skills & Qualifications Required:

Strong proficiency in Java development
Hands-on experience with React for UI development
Expertise in REST API design and implementation
Solid knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in Agile teams

Preferred:

Experience with Go programming language and RabbitMQ
Familiarity with AI tooling and automating quality assessments
Prior experience in enterprise-level application development and database backend migrations

Interview Process

Mokshaa LLC Internal Screening: 30 mins - in MS TEAMS (VIDEO)
Technical Coding Interview (1 hour) -- with senior engineer or hiring manager
System Design & Problem-Solving Interview (1 hour) -- with team leads
Behavioral/Culture Fit Interview -- with hiring manager or team lead
