About The Role

This individual will play a key role in project managing the development and delivery of high profile change initiatives taking place across Nucleus. Working in the Finance function you will bring strong management skills to support complex change initiatives being both led and supported by Finance, helping us deliver great customer outcomes. This will be a hands-on role including: planning across multiple deliverables, governance, co-ordination, communication, and working effectively with our strategic platform provider. You will possess a track record of delivering complex projects.

Transformation is a large scale and complex programme of work, and already in flight and you'll need to be able to "hit the ground running". This is an exciting and varied role and a great opportunity to play a part in the transformation of the Nucleus platform as we move towards becoming 'best loved' in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

Forming part of our dedicated Finance change team, you will play a crucial role in important change initiatives such as the replacement of our banking system and delivery of due diligence reporting, being responsible for:

Managing and delivering the initiatives across the full development lifecycle.

Identifying the skills and resources needed for project delivery
Managing third parties to deliver to their commitments for our business
Being fully compliant with project governance, reporting and tracking

Reviewing and monitoring progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time, budget and quality specifications
Within the project, engaging with assurance reviews and the implementation of review recommendations
Managing risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved
Managing project scope, applying the defined change management processes when required
Reporting project progress in line with stated policies and procedures within the organisation, including ensuring that any requests for information are answered in a timely manner
Establishing teams, in consultation with other parts of the organisation, to ensure efficient delivery and responsibility for the efficient running of these teams by setting project objectives and working within a matrix management environment.
Communicating regularly with stakeholders and sponsors.
Setting and managing stakeholder expectations on timelines and ownership of outputs at various phases.
Coordinating activities and tasks among program teams, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet program goals
Demonstrating effective use of suitable methods and lifecycles, including coaching to business teams and less experienced colleagues

About you

Your friends might describe you as the 'purposeful one'. You love taking responsibility and using your leadership skills to drive accurate, timely and positive project results.

You'll enjoy working within a fast-paced environment that gives you the opportunity to flex your time management responsibilities and your skill for staying calm under pressure. Creative and motivated, you'll take great pride in your ability to act on your own initiative and remain flexible in the face of changing circumstances and priorities.

You'll thrive when working as part of a diverse and supportive team, collaborating with your colleagues to share ideas and knowledge, and displaying your knack for relationship building both with your peers and stakeholders.

We've always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we'd really like you to have:
