About the Team
This role sits within our Global Business Marketing (GBM) North America business unit on our Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team and reports to our Digital Marketing Pod Lead. As a Web Manager for our TikTok for Business website, you will be responsible for overseeing the holistic website strategy, maintenance, and optimization of web pages that serve the enterprise advertiser audience. You will also be responsible for web content design, and crafting clear, expressive, informative copy that engages our viewers, and transforms product features into concepts that are intuitive and easy to understand.
You will work with cross-functional teams, including the SMB and Enterprise marketing teams, and the core website development team to ensure that our website meets the enterprise business and user needs. You will collaborate with business leaders, marketers, product managers, measurement analysts and UX designers leveraging their expertise to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience. Your focus will be to drive website performance, improve user experience, and increase engagement and conversions. You will have a strong foundation in website strategy, SEO, content creation, writing, marketing and lead gen. This role will champion an understanding of the latest B2B advertising and marketing trends, solutions and opportunities for enterprise marketers.

They thrive working within a team and have experience partnering with cross-functional disciplines and regions. Candidates should have experience in both website content strategy & design as well as hands-on experience with web page publishing, website maintenance and basic SEO strategy. The ideal candidate has a self-starter mentality with strong strategy, communication, organization and leadership skills. They should possess a collaborative and entrepreneurial work ethic with the ability to give and take feedback gracefully, provide strategic points of view and execute with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage TikTok for Business' website channel inclusive of strategy, content development, maintenance, and optimization of web pages that serve our North American enterprise audience.
- Lead our web strategy and define and execute a roadmap for our website to drive lead generation, customer education, and engagement.
- Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our business goals and user needs.
- Proactively conduct research on user needs, industry trends and best practices to ensure our content remains current and relevant.
- Write and edit compelling copy for website pages and other digital platforms to inform product positioning and go-to-market messaging.
- Optimize pages for organic search visibility and ensure best practices for content discoverability plus meet web accessibility guidelines.
- Define and monitor website KPIs and metrics and report on content performance using analytics tools to inform future strategies and content decisions, surfacing key learnings and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with developers and designers to enhance site functionality, ensure mobile-first design, and maintain performance standards.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring that all content is published on time and updated regularly.
- Create monthly and quarterly reports to share channel performance and document best practices and playbooks to scale.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in UX writing, content strategy, copywriting, UX, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
- Writing portfolio including, but not limited to: user interface copy, microcopy, user education, direct or transactional emails, style guides, or product launch content.
- Passion for design, technology, and digital products broadly, as well as strong technical writing skills and prior experience writing about technology.
- Strong understanding of SEO, web accessibility guidelines, and content management systems.
- Keen understanding of audience development and A/B testing.
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, Design, User Research, Engineering, and Localization teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and analyze content performance.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, project management and measurement skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, Canva, Photoshop, and other related applications, a plus.
