About This Role

Architect and build performant, elegant UIs in React + TypeScript
Define and enforce frontend best practices and design system consistency
Solve complex UX challenges at the intersection of AI, video, and collaboration
Contribute across the stack (Node.js, APIs, infrastructure) when needed
Lead by example in code quality, accessibility, and attention to detail
Write clear, concise UI copy for buttons, tooltips, and error states

Seniority

1+ years of experience as a frontend engineer at a startup

Work Experience

Experience at multi- media or creative workspace tech SaaS startup (e. g. Canva, Figma, Notion, Webflow, Framer, Miro)

Comfortable taking ownership on small teams (shipping end- to- end features)

Strong track record of writing clean, scalable code

Education

BS in Computer Science from a top computer science university

Hard Skills

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node. js
Strong understanding of CSS frameworks (e. g. , Tailwind CSS)
Ability to build and structure scalable, maintainable systems

Soft Skills

Ability to communicate ideas clearly through both design choices and microcopy
Attention to detail in UI/UX design and usability

Miscellaneous
