Full Stack Software Engineer - Long Term Project - Glendale, CA.

Title: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Glendale, CA.
Duration: 6+ months long term project
Compensation: $90-98.25/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Description/Comment:
As part of the Technology Team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of products and software solutions supporting our production, content operations, and marketing teams. Our mission is to build highly available, high-performance services that are essential for delivering top-tier content to our audiences. If you have a passion for streaming media and want to contribute to a growing team that plays a vital role in the functionality of our internal screening tool, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable backend services using NodeJS and Java
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
Build and maintain frontend components using React or similar frameworks
Design and optimize database schemas
Implement proper error handling and retry mechanisms
Optimize system performance and throughput
Monitor production infrastructure and perform incident root cause analysis
Review and test other developers' code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Basic Qualification:
3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and Java
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
Experience with database management (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Express.js or Nest.js frameworks
Experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks
Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Experience working across multiple teams in a collaborative environment
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, SWE
