Must-haves

5 years of experience as a software developer, developing with web-based applications

3+ years of experience with Python

3+ years of front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience working with the Django framework

Experience building application pages and services that process large and complex volumes of data with various databases and data warehouses such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake

Plusses

Experience with NextJS

Proficient in AWS web application architecture

Experience with GitLab CI/CD processes

Experience with Snowflake

Day-to-Day

In this role, you will contribute to the development of a web-based analytics platform. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing new features, requiring a blend of technical expertise, creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deliver new features for a strategic software platform serving internal decision-makers.
Research and champion innovative solutions to complex software challenges.
Lead, mentor, and support other Application Engineers.
Collaborate with Product Managers to define application requirements, priorities, and project plans.
Work closely with Data Scientists to translate model inputs and outputs into intuitive user experiences.
Partner with Data Engineers on data storage, retrieval, and archiving strategies.
Coordinate with DevOps to architect secure, scalable environments and implement continuous integration.
Create and propose user-centric workflows, wireframes, and mockups aligned with business needs.
Promote best practices in software development across the team and other technology groups.
