The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for a Compliance Analyst to joint their team. This position is a full-time contract role that will be around 5-6 months in length.

Global AML Senior Analyst - Compliance

Location: New York (Hybrid)

A leading investment firm is seeking a Global AML Senior Analyst to support the Global Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in implementing AML/KYC and sanctions policies. This role partners with Legal, Operations, and investment teams to ensure compliance in transaction due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct AML/KYC due diligence on transactions, entities, and individuals, including screening and issue flagging.
Support deal teams with timely transaction due diligence and coordinate on inbound KYC requests.
Review AML/sanctions questionnaires, DDQs, and documentation for accuracy.
Assist with beneficial ownership reporting and compliance with global regimes.
Maintain AML/sanctions and anti-bribery/anti-corruption training materials and records.
Support firmwide risk assessments, testing, reporting, and oversight metrics.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders (trustees, custodians, regulators, etc.) to resolve compliance matters.
Assist with additional compliance tasks such as political contribution reviews and special projects.

Qualifications

3+ years of compliance or regulatory experience in financial services or investment firms.
Strong knowledge of AML/KYC, global sanctions (US, UK, Europe, Cayman Islands), and anti-bribery/anti-corruption standards.
Familiarity with investment adviser code of ethics, M&A/fund structures, and beneficial ownership regimes.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize in fast-paced deal environments.
Excellent communication skills and strong professional integrity.
