Job Specifications

Referment is working with a London based discretionary hedge fund who have just opened a new role in their software development team. Working across many different projects and areas of the fund, this is an exciting opportunity for a software developer to join a leading hedge fund and work with a modern technology stack that is ever evolving. You will hold key relationships with the business and gain exposure to many different asset classes in this role.

The successful software developer will have at least 3 years of object orientated programming experience (ideally C#) and experience working in the financial services space to be considered a good fit for this role. A degree in Computer Science from a leading university and the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders are also both essential requirements.

Key Technical Requirements

Have an excellent technical understanding of:

Structured Design and Software Engineering, especially OO programming (C# preferred)
Relational Databases
Data Structures and Algorithms
Operating Systems
Networking

Non Technical Requirements

2.1 degree or higher in Computer Science from a leading university
At least 3 years of development experience in the financial services sector
Be a confident, numerate, self-starter that will be able to 'hit the ground running'
