Job Specifications

Do you have 3+ years of experience in cloud data development and engineering? We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Brussels.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in cloud data development and engineering
Experience with Databricks platform (notebooks, delta lake, clusters, unity catalog, auto loader) - Mandatory
Experience with Azure cloud data platform technology - Mandatory
Experience with Azure SQL technology - Mandatory
Expert-level skills in Python and PySpark programming - Mandatory
Experience with data warehouse design, Lakehouse architecture, and Delta Lake
Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration techniques, and performance tuning
Experience with Git, Apache Airflow, and SQL preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Languages: French or Dutch (proficient in one language and basic knowledge on the other), English (independent level)

Job Description:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure solutions meet requirements
Deliver high-quality solutions in-line with established standards
Conduct thorough testing and resolve issues identified during development
Provide technical guidance, standards and support to the data engineering team
Support and coach end users through demos, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching
Contribute to the definition and promotion of standard data engineering practices within the group
Work with modern Azure-based cloud solutions leveraging Databricks and Power BI
