AWS Cloud Engineer

Cheltenham | PS65,000 + bonus + benefits | Hybrid (2 days per week) | Financial Services

A leading financial services organisation is looking to hire an AWS Cloud Engineer to help shape, optimise, and maintain their cloud platforms.

This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on complex, large-scale systems where resilience and security are front of mind.

What you'll be doing:

Designing, building, and supporting scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
Driving cloud migrations and optimising workloads for performance and cost efficiency
Automating deployments and infrastructure management using IaC and CI/CD pipelines
Enhancing resilience, monitoring, and system reliability across platforms
Partnering with developers, security specialists, and wider IT teams to deliver best-in-class solutions

What we're looking for:

Proven experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
Good grounding in cloud networking, monitoring, and security
Problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
