Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Location: San Francisco, Washington, DC or NYC, NY (Hybrid)- RTO (Tuesday to Thursday)

About the Role

Manage CRM campaigns, partnering with stakeholders to execute policy campaigns including education, advocacy, and more related to the regulatory and legislative environment in the United States.

Collaborate and work closely with the regional policy team and the Campaigns and Public Engagement team, as well as local business, legal, and communications stakeholders to launch CRM campaigns driven with specific policy goals in mind. Campaigns may also be executed in conjunction with other team members including deployment specialists, operations managers, analysts, marketers to product managers and creatives to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Oversee all CRM campaigns for Uber's Campaigns and Public Engagement teams in the US and Canada.
Be the CRM channel expert for the regional policy team in the region--this means understanding region benchmarks, understanding best practices for CRM channels, and advising stakeholders on how to leverage our channels most effectively
Be able to develop a strategy among the numerous channels included in CRM, such as "in-app messages," "push alerts," and other communication channels outside of email.
Work closely with regional policy stakeholders in developing regional CRM strategy directly related to their broader goals. Ensure CRM is a strategic lever we can pull when communicating with riders and drivers, and will lead to increased advocacy to legislators and other policy makers when needed.
Ability to translate complex policy topics into clear and engaging messages for various audiences.
Plan, execute, and measure key regional CRM campaigns. This includes CRM channel strategy, targeting, and reporting.
Run coordinated experimentation and A/B tests that will generate the insights of tomorrow
Ability to manage large groups of stakeholders. This position will require Communication and coordination with stakeholders from different parts of the company regarding approvals for copy, campaign status updates, launch confirmations, ETAs, blockers, etc.
Develop, document, and socialize CRM best practices

---- Basic Qualifications ----

2-4 years of experience in Marketing, E-Commerce or highly analytical roles
Proven track record of developing strong CRM strategies and campaigns
Critical thinker with creative solutions to solve challenges and meet policy goals.
Strong project management and communication skills that enable you to work with cross-functional stakeholders in different time zones and regions
Confidence to develop processes that drive operational efficiency at global scale
Comfortable analyzing engagement data and developing conclusions based on insights
Comfortable learning new technologies that help power CRM solutions
Strong passion to learn and grow; takes initiative to succeed

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

BA or MA in Marketing or equivalent experience
Experience with Excel & SQL is a plus
Have a proven track record in driving advocacy campaigns to external stakeholders. This could involve experience with grassroots movements, legislative outreach, or public awareness campaigns.
