Job Description

Position Title: JIRA Project Manager

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting remote contract available for a JIRA Project Manager opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

Facilitate and coordinate software development processes within the team
Guide and coach the team on software development principles and practices
Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products
Work with the TPM and PMT to prioritize the JIRA backlog
Maintain the overall program JIRA tool to enable reporting, tracking, and assigning the work product
Facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders across multiple projects
Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
Maintain the JIRA tool for the overall project

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience using JIRA to manage software development projects, including at least 2 years serving as a scrum master, project manager, RTE, or similar role
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies

Job Details:

Contract
Location: Remote, sitting anywhere in the US
Pay Rate Range: $60-90/hr
US Citizen required
