Our client (large financial/banking company) is currently seeking a WebSphere MQ Engineer

This will be a contract to hire role, W2 only. No C2C.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

3rd level support for the following technologies: WebSphere MQ, RabbitMQ, WebSphere App Server, CA API Management, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, DataPower and Google Search Appliance
Build a scalable, fault-tolerant messaging infrastructure
MQ product management that includes upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Develop Chef Code and Build CI Pipelines that will help drive improvements in MQ Software and Config Management from software installation to software configuration to administration and integration and operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

skills in distributed Websphere MQ
Must understand JMS, multi-instance queue managers, MQ clustering, publish/subscribe concepts, and MQ security
Scripting knowledge on Shell, Python and Bash
Strong experience in MQ product certification and build package
Strong experience in MQ product management that includes upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation

pay rate around 60-65/hr
